We’re thrilled to showcase our recent website design and development project for Central Bristol Children’s Centres (CBCC)!
CBCC is a fantastic organization that provides vital support, resources, and activities for families with children aged 0-5 in Bristol. Its new website is a vibrant and user-friendly hub where parents and carers can discover everything they need.
Previously, information regarding CBCC could be found on the St Pauls Nursery School website, which we also designed and developed, and the news and content was getting lost amongst all the nursery school news, so the CBCC team decided that a standalone website would be more effective, and so we worked closely with their team on their vision for the new website.
Designed for Discovery
Finding the right events and activities is now a breeze. The website features a clear and up-to-date timetable which can be viewed in-browser, or downloaded as a PDF.
Support at Every Step
CBCC goes beyond fun and games; they understand the challenges parents face. The website offers a dedicated “Support for Families” section, providing easy access to resources on health, safety, and well-being. It also includes information on their Food Club, a fantastic initiative that ensures families have access to affordable groceries.
A Celebration of Diversity
We believe in creating inclusive websites, and the CBCC website reflects that. The design incorporates a diverse range of imagery and uses clear, easy-to-read language, ensuring that all families feel welcome and represented. The area that CBCC serves is extremely diverse, and so the functionality we’ve included, such as real-time translation of content, helps support the community.
Keeping Up with a Busy Community
We understand CBCC’s team is dedicated to supporting families, and their website needs to reflect that fast pace. Chaos Created works with CBCC on an ongoing basis, handling website updates and event additions. Additionally, the website integrates a live feed from their active Facebook page, ensuring parents are always in the loop.
