We run Code Created Workshops for Primary school and Secondary school pupils, and we can help teachers get to grip with programming and app development too.
We run half and full day workshops for classes, or for large groups, and also training for teachers too (on inset days or when convenient).
We teach the principals of coding, technical know-how, and the practical side of apps and getting ideas to market.
We have a wide range of workshops focussing on apps and games development, which we can tailor for your class or group based on their age and coding experience.
Our most popular workshop is our Coding Games Workshop where we teach the basics of coding, and then put together a simple game in an afternoon, uploading the results to the app stores so the class can show off to their family and friends! This workshop is suitable for pupils with absolutely no coding experience.
We also run an amazing BBC micro:bit Workshop, creating some simple apps and games to run on the device. This fantastic workshop for schools, with variations for pupils aged 8-18, teaches coding logic, and the workshop features sections creating apps in JavaScript or Python too.
Our Introduction to Coding Workshop is perfect for younger children, and introduces coding in a visual way. We are also launching two new workshops this Autumn; a Python Workshop and an HTML5 Workshop.
We are also adding teaching resources to the site in September 2017 including follow-on projects, video led coding lessons, lesson plans, and more – sign up for our newsletter to be informed when they go live!
We have workshops and lessons to suit pupils of all ages – from primary level through secondary education, and we run workshops for teachers too!
