Bristol Early Years Teaching Hub (BEYTH) is a hub for professionals in Early Years settings and Primary Schools, who wish to collaborate, challenge and innovate to improve provision, leadership and achievement in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

BEYTH have recently become an Early Years Stronger Practice Hub for the South West region, covering: Bristol, BANES, North Somerset, Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Swindon. As part of this change, the organisation has been renamed to Bristol & Beyond Early Years Hub (BBEYH), to emphasize their wider reach and impact, and to create a more modern and engaging online presence.

That’s where we, Chaos Created, came in. We are a creative agency that specialises in branding, web design and development, and digital marketing. We have worked with BEYTH for many years, on their website and print-design materials, and we built their online booking and ticketing system back in 2019.

We were delighted to work with Bristol & Beyond Early Years Hub (BBEYH) on their rebranding project. We worked with the teaching hub to evolve their current logo through an iterative process. The new logo retains the well-known iconography from the previous logo, which represents their core values of collaboration, diversity, innovation and excellence. It puts emphasis on the Early Years Hub, and coveys the wider reach of the organisation going forwards. The logo is simple, yet distinctive and memorable, and can be used across different platforms and media.

We incorporated the redesigned logo into the website and tweaked the current design to make it more user-friendly, attractive and informative. We used the new logo and expanded colour scheme to create a consistent and professional look and feel. We improved the navigation and layout, to make it easier for visitors to find what they are looking for. We also provided BBEYH with a branding book containing an expanded palette of colours, and usage guidelines to ensure consistency across their digital and print materials.

We also migrated the website to a new domain name, preserving their SEO and maintaining a seamless experience for users that may be accessing legacy URLs from existing digital and print literature.

The result is a stunning and functional website that reflects the new identity and vision of Bristol & Beyond Early Years Hub. The website also serves as a valuable resource and platform for early years practitioners, who can access a variety of learning opportunities and support from the hub, including booking on for a free Launch Conference in March, powered by the booking and ticketing system we built for them previously.

We are very proud of our ongoing work with Bristol & Beyond Early Years Hub, and we are happy to see that they are delighted with the outcome. We hope that our logo and website design will help them achieve their mission of supporting and developing early years education in Bristol and beyond.
