Pirate Concept (Bad Day for a Balloon Ride)

Early concept sketches from Bad Day for a Balloon Ride, launching early 2015 on Windows, iOS, and Android.

Chaos Created is excited to announce our next big project, an upcoming mobile game called Bad Day for a Balloon Ride.

Bad Day for a Balloon Ride combines a simple gameplay mechanic with a stunning range of beautiful (and somewhat crazy) locations to make a thrilling, and fun, mobile gaming experience.

We’re still very early in the development cycle, but BDFABR stems from an idea that we’ve kept returning to since we launched Zombies Ate My City, and we’re excited that it’s finally entering development. BDFABR also reunites a bunch of the Zombies Ate My City and Timedancer team including writer, Ari Abraham, and composer, Andrea Possee.

Stowing away on their father’s latest invention, a hot-air balloon with an experimental power source, Alfie and Molly soon find themselves in trouble. Teleporting their way through time and space, they need to stay afloat long enough to find their way home.

Navigate exciting, disorientating, and bizarre environments, and help Alfie and Molly explore their surroundings in order to save themselves… And the entire world.

We’re going to be blogging about the development process, and posting development photos on our Facebook account, so follow us there for the latest news. Nearer to launch, we’ll be opening up development to beta testers so keep an eye on our site for details on how you can be involved.

Bad Day for a Balloon Ride will be coming to Windows Phone, Windows, iOS and Android in early 2015.
