Setting Up Your Chaos Created Mailbox on Outlook Mobile

  • Launch the Outlook app on your Android or iOS device. The Inbox is displayed.
  • Open the menu by tapping your account icon in the top-left corner. This is either a user graphic or the first letter of your name.
  • Click the Add Email Account icon, which is an envelope with a + symbol, to add an email account. If you don’t see this icon, tap the gear icon for Settings in the menu bar in the lower left corner and in the Mail Accounts data group, select the Add Email Account link > Add Email Account.
  • Enter the new email address and finish your entry with Add Account. Outlook will now automatically try to determine the correct email provider and access type.
  • Click the Set up account manually link if automatic setup was not possible.
  • Decide on an IMAP or POP3 account. If you want to set up your email using IMAP (Recommended), select the IMAP account type. If you want to instead set up your email using POP3, select the POP account type.

  • If you are setting up an IMAP account (which we highly recommend), enter the IMAP Incoming Email Server as imap.ionos.co.uk and select SSL/TLS from the Encryption method list.
  • In the Port (IMAP) field of the Incoming email section, enter port 993.
  • Your username is your full email address, and Chaos Created has provided your password.
  • In the SMTP Outgoing Email Server field, enter the outgoing mail server smtp.ionos.co.uk and select SSL/TLS in the Encryption Method list.
  • In the Port field of the Outgoing Email section, enter port 465.
  • Your username is your full email address, and Chaos Created has provided your password.
  • Complete your entries with Sign in.

Please Note

  • If you are setting up a POP3 account, in the Port field of the Incoming Email section, enter port 995 and select TLS from the Encryption method list. In the Port field of the Outgoing Email section, enter port 465.
  • If you encounter the error “Outlook could not connect to your outgoing mail server“, you can alternatively use port 465.
