Chaos Created contributed the interactive storybook activities to TES iboard’s Harvest collections.
The non-fiction resources include an information book on the topic of harvest, together with a complete assembly script and accompanying images.
The values of teamwork and friendship are explored in the traditional tales of the Little Red Hen and the Enormous Turnip, as the stories’ messages dovetail neatly with the community spirit of harvest celebrations. Pupils compare the two tales, explore morals through proverbs, then go on to write a short story of their own, using a bespoke spinner to select story elements.
