Apps and games development

We make innovative and fun apps and games for the web, Windows, iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire. And, soon, Xbox One!

crabChaos Created began life as a games company, creating add-ons for the popular Creatures series of games back in the late 1990s.

Since then we’ve evolved alongside the technology, and we now create ground-breaking apps and games across mobile platforms and the web, taking advantage of the latest technology to create new experiences.

In recent years, we’ve been creating educational games for TES iboard, which is used all over the UK in primary schools and nurseries.

We were heavily involved in app development during the worldwide release of Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform, developing flagship apps which took advantage of the capabilities of these new phones. We created the interactive sci-fi film series, Timedancer (which spawned a sequel and a book). We then went on to create the acclaimed location based game, Zombies Ate My City, which was featured on BBC’s Click programme, and heavily promoted by both Microsoft and Nokia.

We have also developed mobile apps for Nokia and for Tesco as commissioned projects.

pancakePanicGamingWorkshop-776x295We work cross platform, making apps for iOS, Android, and Windows. We’re also working on launching our first Xbox game in 2016.

In the modern world, a web site just isn’t enough. You can engage with your audience in unique and viral ways, and we have the capabilities, the knowhow and a creative team to help!

Our team is in a great position to develop your app or game as, alongside commissions, we’ve developed our own home-grown projects which we’ve successfully seen through from the conception of an idea, through development, to release and marketing.

If you feel that your company could benefit by having an app or game on any platform, please get in touch.
